The #HDex series is the consequent confrontation with the city in which I live.
It shows our "dailyplaces" HDex stands for Heidelberg "ex" - exterior, external, ex-trahere, exposition. With the back to the core lookig outwards,

everyday ways we go, places we see daily and often perhaps also overlooked - with the pictures I would like to remain where others go and the unusual view dare and linger there.
The images put these places into the light, the periphery of the city moves into the center of attention and becomes the core. This is where we live.

I leave the viewer alone with the pictures, only very rarely they show the scenes animated by people. Movement and symmetry are always recurring elements. The series develops continuous, like the city I live in, the series also is in a continuous change. In the gallery below you will find a selection of photographs

Die Serie #HDex ist die konsequente  Auseinandersetzung mit der Stadt, in der ich lebe.
Sie zeigt unsere "daily places" HDex steht für Heidelberg "ex" - Exterieur, extern, ex-trahere, exposition. Mit dem Rücken zum Kern nach aussen blicken, alltägliche Wege, die wir gehen, Orte. die wir täglich sehen und oft vielleicht auch übersehen - mit den Bildern möchte ich da stehen bleiben, wo andere weiter gehen und den ungewohnten Blick wagen und dort verweilen.
Die Bilder stellen diese Orte ins Licht, die Peripherie der Stadt rückt in den Blickpunkt und wird zum Kern. Das ist dort wo, wir leben.

Ich lasse den  Betrachter mit den Bildern allein, nur sehr selten zeigen sie die Szenen von Menschen belebt. Bewegung und Symmetrie sind immer wiederkehrende Elemente. Die Serie entsteht fortlaufend, denn wie die Stadt, in der ich lebe, ist auch die Serie in einem ständigem Wandel. In der Galerie unten finden Sie eine Auswahl der Fotografien
